Divorce and / or Separation
At Allington Hughes Solicitors we understand that emotions can run high at times of relationship breakdown. We aim to guide our clients through the process with a minimum of drama, and aim to protect the emotional and financial interests of our clients whilst bringing the matter to a swift conclusion.
Call us today to discuss our fixed fee packages for straightforward matters, or a more tailored service to fit your situation.
In relationships other than a marriage, there can often be a great deal of uncertainty as to rights, duties and entitlement. Our Family Lawyers can assist in relation to property disputes and provision for children, and can advise you as to your options.
We also act in the breakdown of civil partnerships and can offer tailored and expert advice in this still developing area of law.
For more information please contact the specialist advisers in our Family Team on 01978 291000 or 01244 312166.
Please be aware that Divorce affects your inheritance position. In particular, if you do not have a Will you should review the situation. If you remarry, any existing Will is automatically cancelled and of no effect, meaning that if you die your estate will pass in accordance with the laws of intestacy.
Allington Hughes would be glad to help you with the preparation of a new Will. Please visit our Wills page for more information or call the Wills, Trusts and Estates team on 01978 291 000 or 01244 312166.
