Allington Hughes announce merger with David Spalding Solicitor

April 2010 - Allington Hughes welcomes two new solicitors

Emma Simoes and Ian Barnes have recently completed their training contracts with Allington Hughes. Both have accepted positions as Solicitors with the Firm and will be based in the Criminal Department offering 24 hour cover at Police Stations and Courts. Ian also advises on Employment Law issues.
Melissa Griffiths, Head of the Criminal Department said "We are very pleased that both Emma and Ian are joining the expanding criminal and employment teams at Allington Hughes".
November 2009 - Vincent Ryan has been appointed an Employment Judge by the Ministry of Justice and takes office on 1st November 2009

Melissa Griffiths has been appointed a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts Criminal).

Our Criminal Law Team headed by Melissa Griffiths and Rodney Williams is based in our Wrexham office and provides assistance at Police Stations and representation at Magistrates and Crown Courts.
The Team provides 24 hour cover at Police Stations, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. We deal with all manner of cases and are dedicated to providing the best possible advice and representation, realising that for many people, involvement in the criminal justice system can be a stressful experience. Melissa Griffiths’ qualification entitles her to exercise rights of audience in all criminal proceedings in the Crown and higher courts arising from any criminal cause.
